Both elevators will be shut down Wednesday, April 23rd and possibly again Thursday, April 24th for installation of protective equipment in the elevator shaft. This is being performed at night to inconvenience as few residents as possible. During these hours, neither elevator will be in service, so please plan accordingly.
Starting April 21st, 2008, Vertical Transportation Services will be on-site working to modernize our elevators. One at a time, each elevator will be taken out of service for this project. Please refer to the temporary rules and guidelines for elevator use. These rules will be in effect for the duration of the project which will last approximately six months.
Locker Room Upgrades
We are in the process of replacing the tile in both locker rooms and the pool entryway. In addition, we are performing preventative maintenance and minor upgrades to the bathrooms. The work is expected to be completed by April 11, 2008.
Elevator Modernization
We will be modernizing our elevators beginning the last week of April. This work will improve efficiency, functionality and the appearance of the cabs. The entire process is expected to last approximately 6 months. During this time, only one elevator will be in operation. Please try to avoid any major remodeling or moves during this time if possible.
